The Origin Of Halloween

What does UNICEF stand for : It stands for United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund.



Things People Participate in during Halloween  : Trick-or-Treating, fireworks, decorating homes, dress up and carving pumpkins

Where does the name Halloween come from : It comes from a Pagan holy day, called "A Hollows Eve

 What day is it celebrated : On October, 31 annually


What Does UNICEF have to do with Halloween : There is a fundraiser called "Trick-or-treat for UNICEF"


3 Attractions in the lower mainland : Stanley Park Halloween Ghost Train. This is a train ride on the 2 km tracks and is suitable for everyone. Fright Night at the PNE. Every year the Vancouver PNE Playland Turns into a scary Halloween amusement park. Dunbar Haunted House. This is a hunted house which donates all of its earnings to charity.
